This privacy policy applies to DadBot, an automated SMS notification application operated by Anton Jackson ("we", "us"). It describes how DadBot collects, uses, and protects information about subscribers who have opted in to receive SMS messages.
Users subscribe to DadBot by entering their mobile number on the signup page and explicitly consenting to receive SMS messages. The application sends notifications, reminders, and responses only to subscribers who have opted in. Subscribers may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
DadBot collects: (a) the mobile phone number provided at signup, (b) the name provided at signup, (c) a record of consent (timestamp and exact consent language shown), and (d) inbound SMS message content needed to generate a response.
No message content is logged to third-party analytics services or retained beyond what is required to process the request and produce a reply.
Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the SMS notifications you have subscribed to. Inbound message content is passed to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate a response. No analytics, advertising, profiling, or behavioral targeting occurs.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data exclude SMS originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.
DadBot sends SMS messages to subscribers who have explicitly opted in via the signup page. Message frequency varies based on subscriber settings and activity. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. To request help, reply HELP. Opting out will unsubscribe your number from the service.
SMS delivery is handled by Twilio. Messages in transit are subject to Twilio's own privacy policy. AI responses are generated via the Anthropic API, subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. No other third parties receive any data.
Consent records (number, timestamp, consent text) are retained as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after unsubscribing in order to demonstrate compliance with applicable SMS regulations. Message content is not retained beyond the immediate request-response cycle.
